Choosing an Andis UltraEdge blade
A blade’s number relates to the approximate coat length it leaves: higher numbers generally cut closer, while lower numbers leave more coat. Finish-cut blades marked F or FC use evenly spaced teeth for a smoother finished clip; skip-tooth and extra-wide blades suit more specialised work.
