What does FC mean?

FC identifies the full-tooth finishing pattern. The No. 7 skip-tooth blade has the same nominal 3.2 mm length but a different tooth arrangement for initial clipping. Move to the No. 5FC at 6.3 mm when you want to leave a longer finish.

Clipper compatibility

Fits compatible Andis detachable-blade clippers, including AGC models and the Andis Pulse ZR II, plus Oster A5 machines. Check your clipper's blade fitting before ordering; fixed-blade clippers and trimmers use different systems.

Blade care and coat preparation

For an even result, bathe and dry the coat as appropriate, then brush and comb it thoroughly before clipping. Apply Andis Clipper Oil before and during work, check temperature often and remove caught hair. Let a hot blade cool before continuing. Final length varies with the coat and direction of the clip.
