How to oil an Andis clipper blade

Brush loose hair from the blade first. Apply a small drop of oil across the moving contact points and teeth, then run the clipper briefly so the lubricant can spread through the cutting surfaces. Wipe away excess oil before returning to the coat.

Use oil during and after grooming

Professional blades may need re-oiling during longer grooming sessions, especially after cleaning. A light coat before storage also helps protect exposed metal surfaces.
