Choosing the finished coat length

Clipper compatibility

Fits compatible Andis detachable-blade clippers, including AGC models and the Andis Pulse ZR II, plus Oster A5 machines. Check your clipper's blade fitting before ordering; fixed-blade clippers and trimmers use different systems.

Blade care and coat preparation

Brush and comb through the coat so the blade can travel smoothly. Maintain lubrication with Andis Clipper Oil, remove hair build-up and check for heat as you work. Stop if the blade becomes hot, and clean and dry it after use. The result depends on coat texture, preparation and clipping direction.
