Description

The Andis Hinge is the blade-mounting hinge used on compatible Andis detachable-blade clippers. It should remain open when the blade is removed so the next blade can be fitted quickly and securely.

When should the hinge be replaced?

  • The hinge no longer stays open when the blade is removed.
  • A blade is difficult to fit or does not sit squarely on the clipper.
  • Several different blades feel loose on the same machine.
  • The hinge is visibly bent, worn or damaged.
