No. 7 or No. 7FC?

Both this blade and the No. 7FC finishing blade have a 3.2 mm nominal cut. The skip-tooth pattern is useful for the initial cut, while the full-tooth FC version is designed for a more even finish. For a longer skip-tooth option, the No. 5 leaves 6.3 mm.

Professional use: Skip-tooth blades require particular care around skin folds and thin skin. Andis advises that skip-tooth blades must not be used on cats.
