Retaining a fuller coat

At 9.5 mm, this blade leaves more length than the 6.3 mm CeramicEdge No. 5FC. The UltraEdge No. 4FC is the steel-cutter alternative at the same nominal length. The FC full-tooth pattern is designed for finishing work, and needs a coat that feeds freely through the teeth.

Clipper compatibility

For compatible Andis detachable-blade clippers, including AGC models and the Pulse ZR II, and Oster A5 machines. Check your machine's blade fitting; this is the standard-width version.

Care for your CeramicEdge blade

Brush and comb the coat thoroughly, keep the cutting surfaces lubricated with Andis Clipper Oil and remove hair build-up during work. Check temperature regularly: ceramic cutters can still become hot. Allow the blade to cool when necessary, then clean and dry it after use. Coat texture and clipping direction influence the finished length.
