The Andis CeramicEdge No. 5FC leaves a nominal 6.3 mm coat length with a full-tooth finishing pattern. It offers a middle step between the shorter No. 7FC and longer No. 4FC, with a ceramic moving cutter to help reduce heat build-up compared with steel.

An intermediate finishing length

Choose the CeramicEdge No. 7FC at 3.2 mm for a shorter finish, or the No. 4FC at 9.5 mm to keep more coat. FC means full-tooth finishing blade. Coat preparation is important for an even clip: brush and comb through before running the blade over the coat.

Clipper compatibility

Fits compatible Andis detachable-blade clippers, including AGC models and the Pulse ZR II, plus Oster A5 machines. This is a standard-width blade, so check your clipper and any attachment fittings before ordering.

Care for your CeramicEdge blade

Lubricate the teeth with Andis Clipper Oil before and during clipping, clear accumulated hair and check for heat regularly. The ceramic cutter can run cooler than steel, but it still needs oil and temperature checks. Clean and dry the blade before storage.
