The Aesculap SnapOn No. 7F GT345 gives a nominal 3.2 mm finish with a full-tooth pattern. It is a useful blade for short, even dog grooming finishes on a properly prepared coat, retaining more length than the close No. 10.

What the F means

F identifies the full-tooth finishing version. The No. 7 GT343 skip-tooth blade shares the same nominal length but uses a different tooth arrangement for initial clipping. To leave a longer finish, compare the No. 5F GT360 at 6.3 mm.

For added surface wear resistance at the same nominal length, compare the GT345D DLC-coated version.

Fits A5-style SnapOn machines including the Aesculap FAV5 and Durati. Check the exact blade system on other clippers before ordering. Favorita-system machines use a different mounting and cannot take this blade.

Prepare the coat before clipping, lubricate the teeth regularly with Aesculap clipper oil and remove hair build-up. Check blade temperature throughout use and allow cooling when needed. Clean and dry the blade before storage. Finished length varies with coat texture and clipping direction.
