The Mars Coat King Medium with wooden handle offers a middle ground between the open Coarse pattern and the more closely spaced Fine range. It is a useful option for removing loose undercoat and reducing bulk in suitable thick or wiry coats.

Which Medium size should I choose?

  • 8 or 10 blades: standard-width heads.
  • 18 blades: wide head for larger working areas.
  • 30 blades: extra-wide head for broad areas.

All these options belong to the Medium spacing family. The 30-blade version is extra-wide, not Extra Fine; compare the grade as well as the number. If the coat calls for a closer pattern, consider the Fine wooden-handle range.

The Medium plastic-handle version provides another handle choice in the smaller sizes.
