Andis Medium Pin brush

Description

The Andis Medium Pin Brush is a straightforward everyday grooming brush for smoothing, detangling and finishing medium-length and longer coats. Its metal pins reach into the coat to lift loose hair and work through light tangles without the aggressive feel of a slicker brush.

Designed for everyday coat maintenance

  • Straight metal pins help separate and smooth the coat.
  • Pneumatic cushion flexes as you brush and follows the contours of the dog's body.
  • Useful for removing loose hair, small tangles and everyday debris.
  • Good for fluffing and finishing after drying.
  • Approximate pad size: 9 × 4 cm.

What coat types is a pin brush good for?

Pin brushes are particularly useful on longer, flowing and softer coats where you want to brush through the hair without stripping out too much coat. They also work well as a finishing brush after bathing and drying.

Medium or large Andis pin brush?

Choose the medium version when you want easier control around smaller areas or when grooming small to medium dogs. The Andis Large Pin Brush gives you a larger brushing surface for bigger dogs and broader areas of coat.

How to use

Brush in manageable sections and avoid forcing the pins through tight mats. For heavier tangles, loosen the area first with an appropriate comb or dematting tool, then return to the pin brush for smoothing and finishing.
