Andis Large Pin brush

Description

The Andis Large Pin Brush is designed for brushing, detangling and finishing larger areas of medium-length and long coat. Its broad pin pad gives you more coverage per stroke, while the cushioned base flexes to follow the shape of the dog's body.

Why use a large pin brush?

  • Larger brushing surface for quicker coverage on medium and large dogs.
  • Straight metal pins help separate the coat and remove loose hair, light tangles and debris.
  • Pneumatic cushion flexes during brushing for more comfortable contact with the coat.
  • Useful for routine grooming, fluffing and final coat finishing.
  • Approximate pad size: 10 × 5 cm.

Best suited to longer coats

A pin brush is a good choice for longer, flowing and softer coats where you want to smooth and separate the hair while retaining the natural finish of the coat. It is also useful after drying to lift and tidy the coat before final trimming.

Large or medium Andis pin brush?

Choose this large version when you want faster coverage across the body of a larger dog. For smaller dogs or tighter areas, the Andis Medium Pin Brush offers a more compact brushing surface.

Grooming tip

Work through the coat in sections rather than dragging the brush through heavy knots. Tight mats should be loosened with a suitable comb or dematting tool first; the pin brush can then be used to smooth and finish the coat.
