The Wahl Prime Series #40 is an ultra-close professional detachable clipper blade designed for precision animal grooming. Cutting to just 0.25mm, it is ideal where a very close, clean finish is required.
Made in Germany from solid high-carbon steel, the Prime Series is built for professional use. Each blade is precision ground for a consistent finish, while the grooved blade profile helps it run cooler during longer grooming sessions. Because the blade is made from solid metal, it can also be professionally re-sharpened multiple times before replacement.

Compatibility
The Wahl Prime Series uses the professional A5-style detachable blade fitting. It is designed for the Wahl KM Supera and KMC+ and is compatible with Wahl KM-series machines and other compatible A5 detachable-blade clippers, including many Andis and Oster A5 models.
Please note: a #40 blade gives an extremely close 0.25mm finish. Choose the blade length appropriate to the coat, area and grooming technique being used.
