What the DLC version changes

The coating helps the cutting surfaces glide, retain their edge and resist corrosion. The standard GT608 blade has the same nominal cutting length and width. Choose between the two according to your preference for the standard or coated surface.

Compatibility and fitting

For Exacta and Isis models using this dedicated head, including the Exacta Li-Ion trimmer. It has a different fitting from Akkurata/Vega, Favorita and A5-style SnapOn blades. Check your existing blade and follow the manual when removing or refitting it.

Keep the head clean and lubricated

Apply Aesculap clipper oil regularly and clear hair build-up. Even a coated blade can become hot, so check temperature during trimming and allow cooling when necessary. Clean and dry after use; we recommend replacement when the set becomes blunt. Hair texture and clipping direction affect the final length.
