Replace a worn Coarse Coat King head while keeping the handle you already use. These Mars replacement blade sets retain the open Coarse spacing for suitable thick, heavy coats and loose-undercoat removal.

  • Grade: Coarse, with 5 mm blade spacing.
  • Options: 6, 8 or wide 12 blades.
  • Supplied as: a replacement blade-head assembly; no handle.

Choose the correct replacement

A Coarse 12-blade set is the wide Coarse option, not a Fine 12-blade set. Both the grade and the blade count must be checked when ordering. For a straightforward replacement, match the spacing, count and head width of the original assembly.

These sets are for compatible replaceable-head Mars Coat Kings with wooden or plastic handles. They do not fit the fixed-blade Home version. If the original head is difficult to identify, contact us before ordering.

Fitting and complete tools

Follow Mars' fitting instructions, preserve the correct head angle and check that the assembly is securely attached before use. Handle the bladed head carefully, remove trapped hair after grooming and store it dry.
