Heiniger Saphir Hinge and Latch assembly

Description

The Heiniger Saphir hinge and latch together as one assembly. The hinge holds the blade in place and the latch, a small black hook beneath it, keeps the blade locked on the clipper during use.

  • Fits: Heiniger Saphir clippers. This is the newer hinge now supplied on Heiniger's clippers. It may look different from the one on an older machine, but the two are fully interchangeable.

When does it need replacing?

Replace the hinge if it snaps shut too easily when the blade is removed. Replace the latch if it is broken, because the blade can lift off the clipper in use.
