Description
The Andis MBG-5 2-Speed Pet Clipper is a corded detachable-blade clipper designed for heavier home grooming and regular coat maintenance. It gives you the convenience of two speed settings and access to a wide range of snap-on detachable blades.
Why choose the Andis MBG-5?
-
Two-speed operation for greater control across different grooming tasks.
-
Detachable blade system for quick blade changes and easy cleaning.
- Compatible with the Andis detachable-blade format used across many professional grooming machines.
- Supplied with a No. 10 blade and attachment combs.
- Corded design for continuous use without waiting for batteries to recharge.
Blade and comb compatibility
The MBG-5 uses the standard detachable-blade system, giving you plenty of choice when you need a different cutting length. Browse our Andis clipper blades for compatible options, or use suitable attachment combs over the correct blade when you want to leave more coat.
What is the MBG-5 best suited to?
This is a useful choice for heavier domestic clipping where a small fixed-blade trimmer would be underpowered or too limited. The detachable-blade format makes it much easier to move between close work, body clipping and longer finishes.
Compare Andis clippers
If you are deciding whether this older MBG-5 platform is right for you, compare it with the current range of Andis clippers. That collection brings together the corded, cordless and multi-speed Andis grooming machines we stock.
