Select the GT746 for its Angora-coat purpose as well as its 1.5 mm length. The GT710 leaves 1.8 mm, and the long-tooth GT742 leaves 2 mm, but their different tooth designs mean length alone should not decide the choice. Thorough coat preparation and experienced handling matter, especially around thin skin.

Favorita clipper compatibility

Fits Aesculap Favorita 2 and Favorita CL clippers with the dedicated Favorita mounting. FAV5 and Durati machines use the separate Aesculap SnapOn blade system. Check the model and mounting before ordering.

Blade care

Remove tangles carefully before clipping and avoid forcing the cutting head through resistance. Follow Aesculap's pressure-setting instructions and check temperature frequently during work. Lubricate regularly with Aesculap clipper oil, allow a hot blade to cool, and clean and dry it after use. The finished length varies with preparation and clipping direction.
