Adjustable trimming for smaller areas
The white Aesculap Akkurata is a compact cord/cordless clipper for tidying smaller areas on dogs and other small animals. It is useful for work around the neck, belly, head and face, where an adjustable cutting head gives you control over short lengths.
Use it without a cable for freedom of movement, or connect the supplied power lead when you need mains operation. Its slim shape and approximately 250g weight make it easy to position for finishing work.
Blade settings and attachment combs

Three blade settings: 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5mm.

40mm cutting width: suited to localised clipping and shaping.

Five supplied combs: marked 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20mm.

Removable cutting head: detach without tools for cleaning.
When using the supplied combs, follow the instructions for combining the comb size with the blade setting: both affect the resulting cutting length. Prepare the coat before clipping and select the length for the area you are working on.
Replacement blades for the Akkurata
This model uses its own adjustable cutting head. Choose the standard Akkurata replacement blade or the GT606D DLC-coated blade, which offers added wear resistance. A5-style SnapOn and Favorita blades do not fit this head.
