The Aesculap GT758 leaves a nominal 5 mm for a practical intermediate clipped finish. This Favorita-system blade is a useful step up from 3 mm when you want to retain more coat or hair while keeping a tidy, controlled length.

Where the 5 mm blade fits in the range

Choose the 3 mm fine GT754 for a shorter finish, or the 7 mm GT770 to retain more length. The GT758's cutting length is 5 mm; numbered blades from another system may leave a different amount, so use millimetres when comparing.

For added surface wear resistance at the same nominal length, compare the GT758D DLC-coated version.

Favorita clipper compatibility

Fits Aesculap Favorita 2 and Favorita CL clippers with the dedicated Favorita mounting, and Elektra models with the matching fitting. FAV5 and Durati machines use the separate Aesculap SnapOn blade system. Check the model and mounting before ordering.

Blade care

Prepare the coat or hair thoroughly and check that it feeds smoothly through the blade. Adjust cutting pressure as directed by Aesculap and remove hair build-up during clipping. Lubricate regularly with Aesculap clipper oil, allow a hot blade to cool, and clean and dry it after use. The finished length varies with preparation and clipping direction.
